FORMER NELC leader Cllr Keith
Brookes is set to protest about the
accumulation of windblown sand in his Haverstoe ward when he attends this
week’s full council meeting.
The sand pile-up has made an important path
at the rear of Cleethorpes Leisure Centre almost impassable for cyclists,
wheelchair-users, others with disabilities and parents wheeling pushchairs.
At Thursday’s meeting, Cllr Brookes will
demand that the matter is dealt with “as a matter of urgency”.
